Inside Job...Are they stupid or what?

I just got home from watching "Inside Job" and from someone that doesn't work in the financial arena, I found it quite interesting.
Especially in terms of really understanding what happened, something that already got a feeling by seeing "Wall Street 2".

But there was this "tiny" detail that really was "fantastic"..even though most of you already got to the same conclusion and for me it was more a confirmation than anything else...and this is the thing:

Are American politicians stupid or they think the rest of us are??!!

I mean guys really speechless when trying to answer a simple question, to CEO's of major financial companies like Goldman Sach on a trial pulling off a "are you saying that hypothetically?", when facing a question about crappy financial products.

One thing is to say things in a different way,in cases where the truth is a bit sketchy and you can go around things....another is to completely avoid clear questions and say stupid things when it is crystal clear what happened.

But still, they continue to be in the top positions of the American government and major companies...I wonder why.

Zuckerberg donating money to Diaspora?..uhmm

Like any other day, I was today looking at my Google Reader RSS's, checking the latest news and I noticed one very interesting (that came out some months ago): Zuckerberg donating money to Diaspora.

Well, you all remember Diaspora, the project from 4 kids from NYU to create an alternative to Facebook - apparently with stronger privacy focus.

I find it quite odd for Zuckerberg to be donating money to these guys, it raises the question: What will be his connection to this in a very near future?

Either he's going to "grab" it as soon as it is having some success or as a good source of ideas (and for free).

3D Content on iOS? Really?

I was quite interested is this, when I saw the news.

Seems like in a very near future we'll start having 3D content on iPhone and iPod Touch...now, are we going to need special glasses for this? Hope not.

Genius? Nah...A risk taker

Steve Jobs is definitely one of the most known personalities nowadays.

He's driven, he's creative, he's a showman, some say he's genius.

My take on that? Well, I think he's just someone who really wanted to change the world and hit with his face on the wall several times, to have that success.

I don't believe in genius or talent or whatever you want to call it.

I do believe in effort, learning from the mistakes you do and...above all...taking the risk to.

Many like him had success because they had the balls to do what other didn't have the courage to.

Anybody could have done what he or other so called geniuses, but they were the ones to do it because nobody else had what it take to make that extra step.

Einstein was called crazy too many times, he even drop school at some point and he didn't have that much of good grades - and we all know what he ended up doing.

Galileu...well, at that time religion was all over and who dared go against

it was simply killed. He had the courage to put his life on the life for that.

I could be here all day long with other example, but I think you got the picture.

There's no such thing as a born talent..there's the work you do, the objectives you have and the million dollar question:

Do I have the courage to risk several things and sacrifice myself to achieve them?

Life is like a coin: always has two sides!

Kind of interesting, isn't it?

In heard this expression a couple day ago and makes perfect sense.

In every situation we face, we can always see it in a different perspective and that can make the difference between success and failure, happiness and sadness.

It all comes down to the way you face things. How many times were you with a problem at your business and wondering why it didn't work the way you wanted to?

Well have you ever thought that maybe that "side of the coin" isn't the correct one?

It's good to hear other people's thoughts, brainstorm, be critic and provoke discussion.

Through this I'm 101% sure you'll get a more solid solution...or the solution to the problem you were wondering about.
